Assessment only Route for QTS - SECONDARY ROUTE ONLY
The WSTP offers secondary assessment only as a route to gaining QTS, however, you must meet all of the below criteria to be considered for this;
- Currently employed as an unqualified Teacher with an active teaching timetable
- A School that is willing to support you by offering; a mentor, complete observations and write a final report
- Have extensive experience in schools, negating the need for Initial teacher training. This must be demonstrated at interview via observation of your teaching and submission of an evidence folder.
- Meet the costs of the Assessment only route of £2950 (£350 non refundable deposit on application and £2600 once on the programme)
